The 714XA includes a state-of-the-art PLC touchscreen microprocessor control with a unique troubleshooting section. This allows operators to easily use the touchscreen panel to diagnose and resolve problems. The main folder operating functions can be checked for complete input and output signals via the indicators on the troubleshooting screen.

The 714XA AutoFold Paper Folder is also equipped with multiple devices to combat static electricity. These devices include static cords at two key locations in the folder, an in-line ionizing tube, and the use of a static dissipative urethane compound in the manufacturing of the folding rollers.

The 714XA is easy to use, with on-screen directions that guide operators through each step. The microprocessor automatically determines the position for the paper stops and the delivery stacker wheels, and moves them accordingly. Operators can also implement minor fold changes and adjustments using the control panel. Custom fold job setups can be stored in the 714XA memory and recalled later with the push of a button.

The 714XA AutoFold Paper Folder can handle a wide range of paper stocks, including glossy and coated stock. It is also one of the fastest folders in its class.
